Phi Upsilon Sigma - BPMT

Welcome! You have entered the guest page for BPMT society. What does that mean? Well, first of all, it means that you're not a member of the fraternity, but just a bystander curious of what's going on. Or, you're interested in joining Phi Upsilon Sigma, so you're just looking for a little more literature. Hopefully this page has what you're looking for, but of course, you can't join until you officially come to one of our meetings. There, you will meet most of the members, including the founding fathers of the group. Meetings are usually hosted on friday nights around 8-9pm.

Why should you join?

Phi Upsilon Sigma has what most college students are lacking and looking for to improve... Their confidence, their leadership skills, their communication skills, and great connections for the rest of their lives! New members who are selected will start of with the Candidate Program. Here they will have tasks throughout their candidate class, which actually help run this organization. However, this BPMT machine is mostly organized and ran by the Trainers. Trainers are initiated candidates and they are skilled at certain tasks. The tasks that they perform in order to run the group, has been developed and signed to them as they are initiated from candidates to trainers. Candidates are graded for each assignment they are given. This is what determines which tasks are suitable for each candidate. Any one Candidates who does an outstanding job the first week of their training have the opportunity to take a leadership position as the Chief of Candidates. The Chief of Candidates works directly for the Command which consists of the President, the Vice President, and the Activities Director. This job position usually entitles this candidate to gaining a high posistion as a trainer. Sound interersting?

Who can join?

Any University of Florida college student can join Phi Upsilon Sigma, but we ask for students that are serious about joining our organization. We want students that make school work a priority, that way we know they'll be a great contributor to Phi Upsilon Sigma. Students must make sure to bring their Gator1 ID card with them to their first meeting to verify that they're a student.
